
The Dorchester Reporter covered the Camp Harbor View Connors Leadership Academy ribbon-cutting ceremony, which took place at the Southline Complex in Dorchester on Wednesday, May 13th. This facility provides a year-round hub for Camp Harbor View programming, including its teen leadership programming and family service initiatives. Approximately 100 community members were in attendance, including Camp Harbor View CEO Sharon McNally, Eileen Connors, Mayor Michelle Wu, and several representatives from the Yawkey Foundation, including Trustees and staff. The Yawkey Foundation awarded Camp Harbor View a $7.5 million grant in 2024 to establish the Connors Leadership Academy and to honor Jack Connor’s legacy.
