McLean Hospital announced a $2 million grant from the Yawkey Foundation to the support construction of a new state-of-the-art academic and residential campus for children and adolescents. As the nation’s top-ranked freestanding psychiatric hospital, McLean is dedicated to advancing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for children, teens, and families. The new 90,000-square-foot campus will include residential care beds, day treatment programs, and two specialized schools—one for students with autism and a therapeutic high school—collectively serving more than 80 young people each year. Designed as a hub of clinical care, education, and research, the campus will bring together McLean’s expertise in one connected setting, fostering innovation and healing for generations to come.
